Courage

a lion's heart
risks
at any cost
never closed
always willing
beating hard
despite the warning
leaning in
eager for the embrace
that never lingers
seeking
searching
for one
ever hopeful
always faithful
to the quest
of
Love

Astrology V.2

As I delve deeper in the mystery that is Astrology I am learning many different systems...

In what I consider traditional Astrology, also known as Western, my natal chart is as follows:

Sun Sign is Pisces
Moon is Aquarius
Rising/Ascendant is Libra
Mars in Aries
Mercury in Aries
Venus in Aquarius
Neptune in Scorpio
Jupiter in Gemini
Saturn in Pisces
Pluto in Virgo
Uranus in Virgo

This is the chart I have studied the longest and most often.

In Vedic or Sidereal Astrology the planets shift

Sun in Pisces
Moon in Capricorn
Rising/Ascendant in Virgo
Mars in Pisces
Mercury in Pisces
Venus in Capricorn
Jupiter in Taurus
Saturn in Aquarius
Pluto in Leo
Uranus in Leo

Chinese Astrology:  I am a Horse, specifically a Fire Horse

In Druid Tree Astrology: I am an Alder Tree

In Celtic Tree Astrology: I am a Lime Tree

In Native American:  I am a Wolf
Native American Astrology

In Mayan: I am Keh

Mayan Zodiac

As I have studied all these different aspects of Astrology, I have learned that any and all versions can apply to my personality.  Why?  Because I am not one or two dimensional.  I am multi-dimensional.  I was having some dissonance in the beginning as I hopped from one tradition to the next..."which one, which one?"  For me, anything can apply if we want it to.  I can be stubborn, I can be flexible depending on the situation.  I can be domineering and I can be submissive, again, depending on the situation.  I am rarely the same all the time.  That is who I am.  I am mutable.  Changeable.  Adaptable.  Human.

I decided to stick with the Western Tradition because that is the one that I have grown up with and while I enjoy exploring other traditions, I also enjoy the comfort of the familiar.  :)  Maybe I'm not as mutable as I think I am!  :)
