From Cafe Astrology:
If You Were Born Today, March 18:
You are an extremely intuitive person who is sometimes hard to read--and hard to reach! You seem to need more quiet time for personal reflection than most. However, when you are with others you are sociable, interested, and lively. You relate well to people from all walks of life. You have a great need for stimulation and change in your daily routines.

From uexpress:
Born today, you seem to have a great deal of inside information about things that are not only important to you, but to almost everyone you know -- and everyone else, too. You have a knack for knowing what is currently happening, what is going to happen -- as well as when, where and even why. Indeed, there are times when you seem to demonstrate a kind of sixth sense about the future, but really it's nothing but instinct at play. Your instincts are so keen that when you trust them -- and you must always trust them! -- you are sure to do and say the right things, be in the right places and take advantage of the right opportunities. Trust your instincts, and the world will be your oyster.
You know how to parlay the simplest advantages into the greatest possible gains. Indeed, you are likely to succeed where others fail simply because you are willing to do what you must do more quickly, without stopping to have second thoughts. When you decide to do a thing, you do it wholeheartedly; again, it's those keen instincts making things work for you.

Love is the Common Denominator

Below are brief excerpts I have transcribed from Manly Palmer Hall's lecture on the Sevenfold Mystery of Love-video attached below.

Love is the common denominator in practically everything that is useful in existence.

There is something within each person that reaches our for affection and to bestow it.  This power resides not in the mind nor in the body, but in what we have tentatively termed the Soul.  The Soul is, therefore, the source of the good within ourselves.  And it is also part of the wonder that we have received from our Divine Inheritance.

The Power to Love, the need to be loved have descended from the most remote times. There is no period in which this system of interchange has not been noted and recorded. So the question arises, what is Love?  This is the big question.

Love, seemingly, is not part of any of the academic elements of the personality. Love is part of the princicple which produces life.

Life, in itself, is a manifestation of Love.

And Love, therefore, is that which perpetuates, binds together and which ennobles and deifies. All of the other conduits of the human being. Love becomes, so to say, the Leader of the purposes of Life.

And in our present time we are in the presence of a great need for this.

All Mystics are involved in the Love Mystery.

Phases of Love.

1. Love of God

The Love of God was, according to the ancients, the primary basis of our relationship with the universe.  Whether we consider deity as a person, a principle or an idea that which holds the universe together is this basic concept of essential goodness as the source of existence.

2. Love of Wisdom

Wisdom became the search for the proof of the reality of God

3. Love of Country

Love of patriotic relationship with the Earth, with the land, with our neighbors.  The pride of country based upon the fact that all work together to preserve the honor of country.

It meant to be honest, to follow the rule,s to help the widows and the fatherless.  It helped to protect the natural resources. Ii was the conservation of other forms of life.

4. Love of Light

Light is a symbol.  It is a symbol of Universal insight and understanding.

5. Love of Beauty

Beauty is a mysterious and intangible thing.   Creative expression.

6. Love of Skills

Building for the greater glory of God and the greater good of mankind.

7. Love of Family

Family is a microcosm.

All values in life that are important are based upon the integrities of human relationships.  And these integrities include friendships and family memberships.

Humanity is a family.

Love is a universal energy and cannot be blocked into small patterns.

There cannot be any fulfillment in love if it is dominated entirely by physical consideration.  Love is not basicalloly physical but the physical world is a place where Love can reveal itself in a magnificient way.

All we really need is a universe ruled by Love.  What we don't realize is that's what we've got but we have perverted it.  We have denied it.  We have built another world on illusions which have no substance in ethics or integrity and yet there isn't a single blade of grass that grows or a single tree on a hillside that cannot help us to find the truth if we want it.

Love is a responsibility that we Love truth enough that we obey its rules.  That we Love God enough to Love the other creatures that He has fashioned.  And that we Love our neighbor enough not to be influenced by superficial considerations.  Neither race, nor color nor creed should interfere with the universality of man’s primary respect for life and that in serving life itself we become the faithful stewards in the sanctuaries of truth.

The world is finally a temple.  We are its priests.  And unless we practice its virtues the temple rapidly descends to become a fraudulent institution.  The whole theory is rather clear and simple and I think its rather strong and useful the theory that Love is to help things to grow.  To make them greater and better for their own good.  For the common good.  And that the Lord so Loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. It is up to us to realize and understand that that sacrifice was not in vain.  And that the Love of God for man can be equaled by the Love of man for God.  And when this balance is reached, our world will be much happier and livable place and we will all have time to be our better selves without persecution, misery or suffering.

We will be in trouble until the Soul rules the Body.

Magic

“Don't let the muggles get you down.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

“Your Ancestors Called it Magic, but You Call it Science. I Come From a Land Where They Are One and the Same.”
Thor Odinson

“I use the word mystery, rather than magic.
I love magic.  Something magic was always going to happen. When it did, it never did anything but land me in trouble.  MYSTERY is the depth of the sacred.
Page 33 coming home to my self”
Marion Woodman

“Threshold is where the madness ends and the magic begins.”
Kamal Ravikant, Live Your Truth

“Unicorns and rainbows exist because we want them to.”
Truth Devour, Wantin

“Believe is a powerful word to see and to say. But that morning, I felt it. And feeling it was the best of all. I knew something wonderful was about to happen to me. I didn't know what, or why, or how. But I believed.”
Natalie Lloyd, A Snicker of Magic

“That's just the first part. What others call you, you become. It's a terrible magic that everyone can do — so do it. Call yourself what you wish to become.
Catherynne M. Valente, The Girl Who Soared Over Fairyland and Cut the Moon in Two

“Don't let the magic slip away," he says, "or you'll sink into the quicksand of the ordinary.”
Elena Gorokhova, A Mountain of Crumbs

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”
Terence McKenna

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
W.B. Yeats

“Hope can be a powerful force. Maybe there's no actual magic in it, but when you know what you hope for most and hold it like a light within you, you can make things happen, almost like magic.”
Laini Taylor, Daughter of Smoke & Bone

“I do believe in an everyday sort of magic -- the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone.”
Charles de Lint

“Music is the strongest form of magic.”
Marilyn Manson

“Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“Of course there must be lots of Magic in the world," he said wisely one day, "but people don't know what it is like or how to make it. Perhaps the beginning is just to say nice things are going to happen until you make them happen. I am going to try and experiment.”
Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden

“The syntactical nature of reality, the real secret of magic, is that the world is made of words. And if you know the words that the world is made of, you can make of it whatever you wish.”
Terence McKenna

“It's still magic even if you know how it's done.”
Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky (Discworld, #32)

“That's the thing about magic; you've got to know it's still here, all around us, or it just stays invisible for you.”
Charles de Lint

Run

Run, run, run, as fast as I can.

Far away from you

From your torment

From your pain

From your judgment

From your need

Your voice still rings in my head

Threatening my peace

Doubting my strength

Biting me

Tempting me to retaliate

So, I run

I run long and hard

Until my breath tortures my lungs

And silence finally brings relief.

Mirror, Mirror

Gregg Braden - The 7 Essene Mirrors
(video below)

          7 Essene Mysteries of Self

1.  Mystery of the First Mirror:  Mirror of the Moment

2.  Mystery of the Second Mirror:  Mirror of that which is Judged

3.  Mystery of the Third Mirror:  Mirror of that which has been Lost, Given Away or Taken

4.  Mystery of the Fourth Mirror:  Mirror of "Most Forgotten Love"

5.  Mystery of the Fifth Mirror:  Mirror of "Father/Mother"

6.  Mystery of the Sixth Mirror:  Mirror of Your Quest into Darkness

7.  Mystery of the Seventh Mirror:  Mystery of Self Perception

The Roles of Relationships categorized as Mirrors.  The Reality that we have become is mirrored to us.  It is a Reflected Reality.  Reflected to us by the action, choices and language of those around us.

The First Mirror is our presence in the moment.  What it is that we reflect to those around us in the moment.  What are we radiating to those around us as they mirror or shine back to us?

The Second Mirror is that which we judge in the moment.  What are we triggered by?  If it is not a reflection of us, it could be a reflection of that which we judge.  What am I charged by that I am not allowing in others?

The Third and Fourth Mirror reflect to us pieces of ourselves in others that are lost, given away, taken away or most forgotten.  Sometimes our bodies respond psychically with an electrical charge or sensation in response to another person.  What is it that I see in this person that I have lost, given away or have had taken from me?  What is it about this person that I miss? We see ourselves in what we give away.  These mirrors allow us to see ourselves in patterns, often in addictions and compulsions.  We give away portions of our lives, we rearrange our lives, to accommodate our compulsion or addictions.  We seek to reinforce that which has been lost, given away or taken from our lives.

The Fifth Mirror reflects our parents actions towards us as mirroring our beliefs and expectations of our relationship to our Heavenly Mother and Father.  How we feel about our parents and the words we use to describe them represent a mirror of our expectations of our relationship with God.  In this mirror, our mother and father are surrogates of our Heavenly Creator.

The Sixth Mirror can be called the Dark Night of the Soul.  It reminds us that life has a propensity towards balance.  In this mirror we can see that we can allow ourselves to be trusted.  It is an opportunity for us to lose everything and see ourselves in the nothing and then see ourselves rising in our highest level of Mastery.  Light and Dark anchor the mirrors for us.  Our bodies mirror our beliefs.

The Seventh Mirror allows us to see that each experience is perfect.  We allow for perfection in the imperfections of life.

Act from Love

In this video Charles Eisenstein, author of Sacred Economics (et al), describes the times we are in as a time of transition.

We need a new story as we come into reunion with heart and mind and matter and spirit. (paraphrased)

Phosphorus

Creep out from under your rock of shame and face the shining sun.

Let the light show you that your shadows are not to be hidden but to be embraced like beautiful specters.

Bathe in the phosphorus colors that you are.

A conglomeration of all aspects like a many faceted gemstone...not a simple one edge painting but a complicated, fascinating, multidimensional being.
