Astrology

This subject is vast.

I’m going to begin with my own perspective.  I mean, seriously, what else do I have?

I have been fascinated with Astrology since I was a very young girl.  I was raised in two different environments.  One was within a fear-based, religious, doctrine and the other was within liberal expressions of belief.  I ended up indulging my interest in Astrology and many other subjects in private based on the fear I was conditioned with as a child.  No judgments about my childhood.  It was what it was.  We all have our “stuff” and I choose to move on.  I make these statements in order to provide background information.

For me, Astrology has evolved.  In my early years I eagerly awaited Cosmo’s Bedside Astrologer filled with hope that all my “Sex in the City” dreams would come true.  Later I left behind a lot of the divination aspects of Astrology and concentrated more on the psychological / archetypal representations and how this combination of art and science could help me understand who I am.  Recently, I have found a connection between Christianity and Astrology and I find it completely intriguing.  Here are some links for those interested in researching further:  Bill Donohue http://www.hiddenmeanings.com/, Santos Bonacci http://universaltruthschool.com/

Having said all this, I returned to the divination aspect of Astrology.  I have a favorite app I use and I enjoy the interaction.  I do occasionally order a transit report or look at other sources for what is coming.  I prefer to know what energy is in the air so I can discern what is my stuff and what is cosmic.

Every once in a while I look at an upcoming transit and get that collective “ruh-roh” rush of energy feeling.  Then I realize that choosing to focus on hardships only creates more hardships.  Switch!  Recently I saw a big warning sign indicating a Saturn and Moon confrontation within my transit chart that portends difficulties.  *cue dramatic music*  At first I felt panic then I realized it was unnecessary and I surveyed the situation from several different views until I came to the one that worked for me.

After doing that, I realized that the prediction was actually a report of what I had gone through less than 24 hours prior. I sailed through it with flying colors.

Thank you!
