Money, Money, Money

Well, I had goals, plans if you will, to wrap up my thoughts on money and the concept I've been researching on different types of economies.

I have 1) found some intriguing ideas:

In this article, "Funding my Existence" on Reality Sandwich  the author talks about creative types being funded by donors. Funding My Existence

Is this a viable way of living?  Could this be the future of work?

In another article from Reality Sandwich, Daniel Pinchbeck writes:

"As the design scientist Buckminster Fuller noted, most of the work that our society creates produces no real benefit for the earth, and in fact subtracts from it."  The Impossible Alternative

and 2) this "issue" is no where near being wrapped up for me.  Okay, let's reframe this...

I am not quite finished with my studies on money.

As a result of myself pressuring myself to wrap this up at the end of February, I got lost in a time warp and my writing was blocked.  *sigh*

Wrapping this up for now.  To be readdressed on a regular, ongoing basis...blerg.  :)
